How to Measure Ring Size
The best way to find your partner's ring size is to ask or borrow a ring that fits comfortably in his or her finger. If you're planning a surprise, ask their friends or family. The average ring size available for women ranges from size 4 to size 9 1/2. The most commonly purchased women's rings range between size 5 and size 7 with size 6 1/2 as the most popular. The average ring size available for men ranges from size 6 to size 13. The most commonly purchased men's rings range between size 8 to 10-½ with size 9 as the most popular.
Measure your ring size at the end of the day when your fingers are warm. Finger size changes depending on the time of day just like your feet. Fingers measure smaller in the early morning and in cold weather. Measure 3 to 4 times for more accuracy.

1. You need a string or a strip of paper, a tape
measure or a ruler and a pen.

2. Wrap the string or the strip of paper around the
base of the finger and mark the point where
the ends meet with a pen.

3. Wrap the same string or the strip of paper around
the knuckle of the same finger and mark the point where the ends meet with a pen.

4. Determine the middle of the two marks and
place against the tape measure or the ruler and
measure in millimeters (mm). This will be the
inside circumference of the ring.

5. Measure 2 to 3 times for accuracy.

6. Pick the closest measurement on our ring size chart
